About Chanelle

I’m Chanelle, a certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a specialized passion for infant feeding, breastfeeding, mentoring, guest lecturing, and providing inclusive, evidence-based care. I earned my Master of Science from The University of the District of Columbia in 2021. My clinical experience spans a wide range of settings and populations across the lifespan.

Following my time at Duke Children’s Hospital, my interest in pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders deepened significantly. I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse clinical environments, including the NICU, Cardiac ICU, Pediatric ICU, Oncology Unit, NICU Follow-Up Clinic, home health, and private practice. Currently, I am collaborating with a colleague to develop an infant feeding program within our hospital system.

My clinical expertise includes supporting infants and children with a variety of complex needs such as post-NICU graduates, genetic syndromes, cleft lip and palate, tongue and lip ties, cardiopulmonary and aerodigestive conditions, bottle refusal, g-tube, thickener weaning, dysphagia, and more across developmental stages, transitioning to solids, and delayed oral motor pattern.

I’m passionate about helping families advocate for their children and ensuring that no one feels alone in their journey. Whether you are a student, clinical fellow, practicing clinician, or parent, I’m here to support you with evidence-based strategies, tools, and guidance.
